The gap nobody mentions
Installers quote the same savings figure statewide. It is not the same statewide. Under 3 of the providers below, the power you export is bought back for a fraction of what you pay to import it an hour later.
That does not make it a bad idea in those territories. It changes what you should build. Where the credit is poor, the value is in using your own power as you make it rather than selling it back, and after dark that means storage. In those territories we treat battery backup as mandatory.

You pick one installer
Licensed Florida contractors serving your territory, in an order we set and disclose. You choose the company, not a call centre.
One company calls you
Only the company you picked receives your details. We do not sell the same homeowner to four installers and let them race.
You get it in writing
A quote with the credit terms stated on it. If an installer will not put your utility’s terms in writing, that is the moment to walk.
